Here is a photograph of a Minersville contigent taken at the 40th reunion at Sweet Arrow Lake on October 18th.The number one record on October 18th, 1968 was "Hey Jude" and it was performed on "The Smothers Brothers Show" during that month. It became a big, big hit.
Here is a Youtube video of the Minersville Bicentennial Parade from 1976. I think the video man had a one track mind, and it was not on the bicentennial....Minersville 1976 the video is eight minutes long, so make sure your boss is not nearby when you watch it.
