Junior 2

I forgot to mention in the previous sports-related blog that in 1968 O.J. Simpson won the Heisman Trophy for being the best college football player of the year. In 1999 his trophy was auctioned off for $230,000. with the proceeds used towards payment of the 33.5 million dollar civil judgment lodged against him. In between he was noted for Hertz rental car commercials and playing the part of Nordberg in the Naked Gun films, and leading a police chase in his Bronco.

Biology lab

Dear Friends,

It is with the saddest heart I pass on the following:
Please join me in remembering a great 1960's icon -- the veteran Pillsbury spokesman.
The Pillsbury Doughboy, "Poppin Fresh," died yesterday of a yeast infection and complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, Skippy and Captain Crunch.
The gravesite was piled high with flours.
As longtime close friend, Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy, describing Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded, Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers.
He was not considered a very "smart" cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes, conned by many who buttered up to him. Despite being a little flaky at times, he even still, as a crusty old man, was considered a roll model for millions. Toward the end it was thought he would rise again, but alas, he was no tart.
Doughboy is survived by his wife, Play, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough; plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart.
The funeral was held at 3:50 for about twenty minutes.

Science Department

What science joke is being told in this photograph?

A. If Sound does not travel in a vacuum Why is a vacuum so noisy?
B. A neutron walks into a bar; he asks the bartender, "How much for a beer?"The bartender looks at him, and say "For you, no charge."
C.Two atoms bump into each other. One says "I think I lost an electron!" The other asks, "Are you sure?", to which the first replies, "I'm positive."
D.Did you hear about the chemist who was reading a book about helium and just couldn't put it down?
E. None of the above

The Mother Superior Of All Reunions

1993 was the year of the 25th Reunion, which had the largest turnout. You can click the photo with your mouse and enlarge the picture for somewhat better viewing. It was held at Rick-Ann Hall in Primrose on the day after Thanksgiving. I think it was the anniversary of Marie and Jerry Zebertavage.

Some facts about 1993: The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted Cream, Creedance Clearwater Revival, The Doors, Van Morrison, and Sly and the Family Stone.
Hillary Clinton's husband was beginning his first term as President.
World Series: Toronto Blue Jays vs. Philadelphia Phillies Series: 4-2. Blue Jays won.

Sgt Pepper

On the album cover above one will find Mrs. Cantwell and in the rear Father Nugent. Neither appeared on the final cover of the legendary rock album released in June 1967. Sgt Pepper was ranked as the greatest rock album of all time by Rolling Stone magazine back in 2003. An image of Gandhi was also removed. While Mae West objected at first, she relented and remains visible in the back row on the left. Below is a photo of Mrs. Cantwell with her real band:

random photograph #11

An obvious fraudulent photograph. One good look and you will see female students not wearing their traditional drab green uniforms while Sister Alacoque has Moe Howard, Curly Howard and Larry Fine has visitors.

Here is a Youtube video of The Three Stooges in a classroom: The Alphabet Song.
