The Individuals

This is a rare photograph of the early incarnation of "The Individuals." It is the best quality that I can post. Some of the members are still playing. To read more about the current members of the group go to the this article from the Pottsville Republican: The New Individuals.
Bob Zucal of Danville, is the senior member of The New Individuals. Bob, a Minersville native, now the keyboard player, has been with the group since its inception and still finds enjoyment in strapping on his old accordion to make feet start skipping to ‘The Pennsylvania Polka.'

Rick Smith of Pottsville, also a golden oldies original member. Rick began playing the drums when he was 13. He joined his first group, The Comets, in 1964 during the age of the British Invasion. Rick played with the Individuals from 1965 until 1969 when his fancy turned to Polka and a group called The Billy Urban Polka Band. He returned home to The New Individuals in 1999.
I have no idea what song they are playing in the photo above, but it must be "time related" due to the appearance of the grandfather clock.
Some favorite time songs from the sixties include:
Time Has Come Today Chambers Brothers
"The Midnight Hour" Wilson Pickett
Does Anyone Really Know What Time It Is? Chicago
"time won’t let me" Outsiders
"time is on my side" Rolling Stones
"No Time" Guess Who
